Another category of wall that is similar but has a different purpose is the Free Standing walls. These are walls that do not retain any materials but can be used for privacy, to break up areas in an outdoor living space, be used as the foundation cabinets for an outdoor kitchen, a column, and the list goes on.

The construction of most retaining walls is basically the same on all projects. Just as important as selecting the correct wall block and color for your application is the preparation under and behind the wall that you won’t see afterwards. The base that the wall will rest on is of utmost importance. It is crucial that the base is leveled and compacted properly to ensure the longevity of your project. Our installers are certified by the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute and have years of experience to ensure your project is constructed properly.
